I'm Fahad Dalwai, a CS masters student at the University of Illinois Chicago 🐿️.

I'm currently working on security and threat monitoring with a focus on agentic AI using LangChain, AWS BedRock and PineCone. I enjoy defining new problems and finding their solution using industry-standard practices while using the latest tech. You'll notice I place a majority of my emphasis on reliability, efficiency and most importantly, clean architecture patterns when deploying my solutions.

        Software Engineering Intern 🗓️Jan 2024 - April 2024

        • Developed Internal knowledge base web app for 400 employees using VueJS and Bootstrap for team-based repository storage. Utilized ElasticSearch and Kibana for document-wise searching and visualization of team document statistics.
        • Engineered backend with Go and SQL for the SOC team, and containerized application with Docker for deployment.
        • Built GenAI chatbot using AWS BedRock and Claude LLM with AWS Titan and Retrieval Augmented Generation to identify the best OData API out of 200 required in SAP S/4HANA based on employees use cases.

        • Optimized 3 TensorFlow models, performed data engineering and selected suitable ML algorithms with over 90% accuracy for 3 clients located in Hyderabad. Deployed robust scalable APIs on AWS Lambda in Python.
        • Developed 6+ APIs in Python using FastAPI and Flask for sample demonstrations of NLP services such as malicious link classifiers and toxicity detection on the company website.
